During the International Science and Technology Symposium “Geoinformation environmental monitoring: GPS and GIS technologies” (12-17 September 2011, Alushta, Crimea) met with the management of the project TEMPUS (511322-2010-SE-JPCR) “Geographic information technology for sustainable development in Eastern neighbouring countries”. The meeting was attended by Huaan Fan (Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden), Vitalie Dilan (Tiraspol State University (UST), Moldova),Dietrich Schroder (Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences (HFT), Germany),Iurii Karpinskyi (Kiev National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUCA)), Kornyliy Tretyak (Lviv Polytechnical National University (LPNU)).
The meeting discussed the following issues:
- Review of procurement of equipment for the GIS laboratories;
- Courses on GIS, which will be held at the State University of Architecture and Construction Yerevan, Armenia;
- The organization meeting of curriculum and analyzing data according to pre-processed forms;
- Discussion of student exchange under the project.
As a result of the meeting prepared a protocol on the work and following a plan that was sent to all partners of the project.
